It's kind of surreal to me that the same people who were told that they shouldn't exist because they don't fit a mold of heteronormativity, Christian normativity, etc., then turn around and become so censorious themselves. Maybe it's a way of regaining a sense of control, since they can't get rid of abuse and pedophilia in the real world but they can hound fanfic authors off the internet and pat themselves on the back while doing so.
