Ever try torrenting? It's how I get a lot of stuff these days that's unavailable in my area, especially high-res footage for edits and such.
The meta text is more or less complete, I just need two of my brain cells to grab some gifs for illustration purposes.
Lol maybe Hideko and Sook-Hee do have a forbidden love aspect what with being Japanese and Korean and of different social classes, though I'd say the queer aspect vastly overrides that.
Hideko is Japanese, and the Korean-born turncoat Kouzuki is her uncle by marriage. He took his wife's name so Kouzuki is also Hideko's mother's maiden name. Here are the three known Kouzuki sisters:
- Hideko's mother is the oldest. She married a rich guy and died when Hideko was a baby.
- Hideko's aunt, the one who married the Korean turncoat who was also a rich guy (this family has a pattern) from selling out his country. She died childless.
- Hideko's youngest aunt, the one who committed suicide. Was abused to death by her brother-in-law before she could marry a rich guy. I don't think Kouzuki had designs to marry her himself, since she did not have money; the Kouzukis were fallen aristocracy and Hideko's money comes from her father.
