Ah, that makes sense. The American commentators were all IT'S KKK HOODS but given that this is Europe, that's probably the intended reference. It's interesting since the pointed hoods were evidently for penitence and self-flagellation. Maybe it's a comment on the downtrodden state of women? Or just a creepy visual effect?

I wish she'd made a slightly more convincing man because ain't no way she can pass like that, but then again this was basically Sherlock's drug trip so I guess she doesn't have to. Definitely, she was hot.
