I hear you. I haven't so much as thought about Tumblr for ages, but now that I've fallen down this new fandom rabbithole and need to see Their Faces all the time and crave gifs and such, then want to return to said gifs to spam friends with them, I find I really do need Tumblr's image-heavy functionality and tagging system. I sort of gave up and I'm using it as a personal organization system.
