The history of the Fujiwara name provides really valuable context for the character, which I appreciate. It's interesting that the Fujiwaras and Pandol were on the opposite ends in terms of class but were still awful. I hope I didn't spoil you unduly for The Handmaiden, it really is an excellent story that I recommend you watch if you can handle all the violence, including sexual violence.
