Yeah, they're a hard bunch to engage with and you made the right call to ignore them. I was originally interested because I thought they might offer valuable critiques of feminism. All I learned, though, was that they make for dishonest and gross debating partners. All the valuable critiques of feminism comes from within the movement or from allies, not from MRAs who can't even articulate what their goals are other than for feminists to not exist/come to harm.
Nowadays I mostly talk to them in the slim hopes of finding one non-gross and halfway decent person. Just one, is that too much to ask?
